Directions from London (95 miles from M25/M4 junction):
M4 Junction 15, Follow A419 to Stroud (this exits the dual carriageway 16.9 miles after J15 prior to Cirencester exits), from Stroud take the A46 towards Cheltenham - Painswick is 4 miles from Stroud on the A46. On arriving in Painswick turn right immediately after the church just before the lights, follow Victoria St for 100 yards to The Cross/Tibbiwell Street.

Directions from M5 (North - 46 miles from M42/M5 junction or South 35 miles from M4/M5 junction):
M5 Junction 11A on to A417 to Cirencester, almost immediately take first slip road - A46 towards Stroud. Painswick is 4 miles from the junction. When you reach the village go through the lights, turn left before the church, follow Victoria St for 100 yards to The Cross/Tibbiwell Street.

Parking in Painswick:
Parking is free in the village outside Cardynham House. There are a number of spaces in Victoria Street, Tibbiwell Street, Friday Street, Bisley Street and by the stocks (turn right coming down Victoria Street).

The nearest off street car park is in the Painswick Centre at the foot of Bisley Street very close to us. Car parking here cannot be booked. We hold vouchers at reception for this car park. Charges are £3.00 for 24 hours 6pm to 6pm.

There is also a large public car park off the A46 on the Stroud side of the church. This is Pay & Display Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. Charges are 1 hour 30p, 2 hours 50p, 3 hours 80p, 5 hours £1.50, more than 5 hours £2.00. Outside these hours overnight, Sunday and Bank Holidays are free of charge. Tickets can be purchased after 6pm for the following day.
